COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS - 5TH MAY 2005
Running a campaign is a significant challenge. It is difficult to get a message out to as many people
as possible in a short time. This web site is a great way to quickly introduce myself and educate visitors on the key
issues of my County Council election campaign.
For the past four years, I've represented Grantham South Division at Lincolnshire County Council. I
have now decided to transfer to Grantham East Division which coincides with the District Council Ward of Harrowby which
I represent at SKDC. I believe that by doing this I will be able to work in a more efficient manner.
I must stress that this campaign is not about Iraq or the economy or whether Tony Blair and Gordon
Brown are still speaking to each other, it is about something far more funadamental. It is about whether you can still trust
the Tories to have control of the huge County Council budget, or whether you are willing to give Labour that opportunity.
Let's be honest, after the last four years, things simply cannot get any worse.If you have followed the news, you will be
aware that the Conservatives at LCC have been in the headlines constantly for the past four years,
and all for the wrong reasons. In the following pages, I will try to highlight some of their wrongdoings and also spell out
the aspirations of the Labour Group.

I will try to keep this website fresh and up to date and use it as a sounding board to discuss the
many local issues which concern you. Issues raised will be many and varied but all will be valid and will be listened to.
