I am very
actively involved in a number of areas within Skegness as well as with Skegness Town Council, and it is important to me to
help to continually improve things there as this is my home town. Skegness has a great future in the right hands and we are
fortunate that we have majority of Labour Councillors to help guide us into a prosperous future.
Since becoming
a County Councillor, the biggest part of my workload from
constituents has been on highways matters. This is particularly poignant in Skegness, not just because the streets and footpaths
in Skegness are in a terrible condition, but because the previous incumbent was a Conservative who was the portfolio holder
for highways in Lincolnshire! It is obvious I have a lot of work to do in this area in Skegness as this had been neglected
by a failed Tory.
My main and immediate
aims and ambitions are to improve my home town to a place where I would be proud to live (and I am very hard to please), and
to make a significant contribution to Lincolnshire County Council to help deliver quality services that the people of Lincolnshire
deserve.
